The Ski Dubai, located inside the Mall of the Emirates, is an outcome of the creation of a unique and luxurious experience. As one of the largest indoor ski resorts in the world, Ski Dubai offers a variety of winter sports, entertainment, and leisure activities in an environment maintained between -1 to -2 degrees Celsius throughout the year, while the outside temperature soars above 40 degrees.

Developed by Majid Al Futtaim Group, Ski Dubai opened its doors to the public on November 30, 2005, following the opening of the Mall of the Emirates on September 28, 2005. The delay in the opening of Ski Dubai compared to the mall was due to factors including the complex construction requiring technical challenges and extensive safety and security testing. The concept of indoor skiing and winter sports was completely new not just for Dubai but also for the Middle East region.

Ski Dubai has a total size of approximately 22,500 square meters and an 85-meter-high indoor mountain with 5 slopes of varying steepness and obstacles, including a 400-meter-long run. Ski Dubai boasts the world's first indoor Black Diamond run and a Snow Park sized at 3,000 square meters.

The entry fees for Ski Dubai vary based on the type of pass visitors choose. The Snow Classic Pass costs approximately AED 220 for adults and AED 190 for children. The Snow Plus Pass is approximately AED 340 for adults and approximately AED 320 for children. The Ski Slope Pass for 2 hours costs approximately AED 220 for adults and approximately AED 190 for children. The Ski Slope Pass for a full day is approximately AED 310 for adults and approximately AED 290 for children. These prices include access to rental equipment such as skis, boots, snowboards, jackets, and trousers, and some packages offer experiences such as penguin encounters, snow bullet rides, or Snow Park access.

Ski Dubai offers many activities suitable for all ages, including snowboarding, Snow Park, penguin encounters, snow bullet rides, and Zorb ball. There are five slopes for snowboarding, each with its own length and difficulty level, and a well-themed area for safe snowball fights. Ski Dubai also provides the opportunity for visitors to interact with penguins, observe their nature, and participate in thrilling experiences like zip-lining over the Snow Park. The Zorb ball game features a large elastic ball where visitors can enter and roll down a slope. Ski Dubai is decorated during special events like Christmas and New Year celebrations.
