Legoland® Dubai

LEGOLAND Dubai is a theme park designed specifically for children aged 2-12. It is located within Dubai Parks and Resorts and offers a variety of rides, attractions, and interactive experiences. LEGOLAND Dubai is part of Dubai Parks and Resorts, located on Sheikh Zayed Road between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. LEGOLAND Dubai officially opened on October 31, 2016. The planning phase began in the early 2010s. The project was officially announced in 2012, with detailed plans for multiple theme parks, including LEGOLAND Dubai, to be developed in a single location. Construction for LEGOLAND Dubai began in 2014. The park was developed by Merlin Entertainments in partnership with DXB Entertainments. LEGOLAND Dubai is inspired by the successful LEGOLAND parks in other parts of the world, including Denmark, the USA, and the UK. The construction of LEGOLAND Dubai was part of the larger Dubai Parks and Resorts project, with an estimated total cost of around AED 1 billion to AED 1.2 billion.

In LEGO Factory, visitors can see how LEGO bricks are made and receive a commemorative LEGO brick as a souvenir. In BIG Shop, it is the largest LEGO store in the Middle East, offering a wide range of LEGO sets and merchandise.

Kids can learn to drive electric cars and earn their own LEGOLAND driving license. Children can captain their own boats through a winding watercourse. This interactive area allows kids to build their own LEGO cars and race them down a track. A spinning ride where guests can control the speed of their own vehicle. Visitors can pull themselves up to the top of a tower for a great view of the park before gently descending.

A dragon roller coaster that takes riders on an exciting journey through a medieval castle. A smaller, gentler roller coaster designed for younger children. A carousel-style ride where guests can spin around on Merlin’s magical horses.

An interactive dark ride where guests use laser guns to battle mummies and skeletons. A submarine ride through an underwater world filled with LEGO sea creatures and real marine life. A speedboat ride where guests can dodge water blasts and race around the course.

LEGO Miniature World is a replica of iconic landmarks from around the Middle East, all built from over 20 million LEGO bricks. Many of the models in Miniland are interactive, allowing visitors to bring them to life with the push of a button.

Kids can build their own LEGO raft and float down a lazy river. Joker Soaker is a fun water playground with slides, water cannons, and a giant tipping bucket. LEGO Wave Pool is a wave pool that is perfect for cooling off and having fun in the sun. Slide Racers is a multi-lane slide where guests can race each other to the bottom.

LEGOLAND Dubai offers a variety of dining options, including burgers, pizza, pasta, and healthy snacks. There are designated picnic areas where visitors can enjoy their own food. Located at the park entrance, providing assistance with tickets, information, and special needs. There is a first aid station staffed by trained medical personnel. A lost and found service is available for guests who misplace items during their visit.

The park is designed to be accessible for guests with disabilities, with ramps and special facilities with wheelchair access. The park features a 4D cinema showing LEGO-themed movies with special effects like wind, water, and lighting. Various live shows and character meet-and-greets are scheduled throughout the day.

During Halloween, the park is decorated with spooky LEGO creations, and special events are held. The park transforms into a winter wonderland with festive decorations and holiday-themed activities.

The best time to visit LEGOLAND Dubai is during the cooler months from October to April. Weekdays are generally less crowded than weekends. Tickets can be purchased online or at the park entrance. There are various options, including single-day tickets and annual passes. Consider combo packages that include access to other parks within Dubai Parks and Resorts for better value.
