What is Salik?

Salik is Dubai's electronic toll collection system designed to streamline traffic flow and reduce congestion on major highways. Launched by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), Salik operates without the need for toll booths, allowing for a seamless driving experience. Vehicles passing through toll gates are charged automatically via RFID tags affixed to their windshields, deducting the toll amount from a prepaid account.
